A couple of weeks ago Robbi toured with his wife Amritakripa plus Dug Pinnick and Mike Hansen. It was a mini tour with only three dates, but it apparently was pure magic! And because of this Robbi created a mini documentary.

Oh, and .. *drum roll* .. say 'HI' to brand new music! Robbi just uploaded the brand new "EAR TO SPACE" album on bandcamp. Enjoy!
"This album was created out of series of jam sessions. The basic mixes were sent to Dr Space, who then, jammed along as if he was playing with the band, the files were sent to Robbi, who then mixed, added a few overdubs and the magic was created.
For Side D, the opposite happened and Dr Space created the basic tracks and 3rd ear jammed along. So what does it sound like?? Space rock with a cool ethnic or electronic vibe at times. Side A and B are more rocking while side C and D are more ambient and spaced out trips."

News! Finally some news here on robbirobb.com! And if you happen to live in North America, this might be the best news for you this year: The 3rd Ear Experience is going to tour in your part of the world!
The line-up for this tour is mindblowing: There's of course Robbi Robb on vocals and guitar, but there's also the one and only Dug Pinnick on bass guitar and Mike Hansen on drums! Yup, that's the SAME line-up as back then in 1997 when Tribe After Tribe toured Europe! Expect to hear some 4rd Ear and some Tribe After Tribe material!

Sound of Liberation, Europes premier promoter and concert organizers have put together a tour package of three of the finest desert rock bands - featuring Fatso Jetson, 3rd Ear Experience and Fever Dog.
As a means of travelling lightly and keeping costs low, 3rd Ear Experience will be going out as a 3 piece with Jorge Bassman on bass, Steve Howells on drums and Robbi (the sorcerer) Robb on guitar. Joshua Adams the drummer of Fever Dog will be handling the space rock keyboards for 3rd Ear Experience. Danny Graham the guitar player for Fever Dog will be supplementing second guitar on a few 3rd Ear Experience songs. F atso Jetson will also be drawing from the pool of talent of 3rd Ear experience and Fever Dog to augment their live set.
This tour will reflect the true nature of creativity and comradeship that is so unique to the desert rock scene. Every night stands to be a unique experience and the whole tour to be full of once in a lifetime surprises, yea! you can expect many late night jams to occur!! Final dates will be announced soon.

Good 3rd Ear Experience news all around! Matte of SOL Promotions has begun scheduling a tour of Europe for October - begining with our first gig at the Keep It Low Festival 2015. The band is super stoked as we will get to see Colour Haze and Samsara Blues Experiement.

The Third Ear Experience is busy. They're in the studio recording the next album. Anyhow, they're taking a break from the studio for to weeks. They have been at it for six weeks. Oh, and the next Amritakripa album is one long weekend away from being finished.
Third Ear Experience will be playing the mainstage at the Joshua Tree Music Festival - and are headlining the Bakti fest backing Amritakripa.

It was early 2008 - my wife was pregnant - that I redesigned robbirobb.com. I knew I would not be able to spend much time on the site because my new life as a proud father would consume a lot of time and energy. Anyhow, six years have passed and things settled down a bit and this means: Welcome to the new version of robbirobb.com!
The new version is much (!) smaller than the old one. I want to keep things simple. Timeless. Robbi runs the Facebook site for Tribe After Tribe and you'll be sure to get all the news over there. This place here basically covers his discography for his many projects! Enjoy!
